Covid has been known to reduce air pollution, but does the same apply with water pollution?

Writer's picture: Water Pollution Savior SocietyWater Pollution Savior Society

Actually, people think that COVID is making our environment better, which is right in some cases. Waste exclusively from COVID-19, such as masks and gloves, that were thrown into the ocean. Disgusting right? And what if there is COVID on the mask, and these viruses can easily get into your water? This will make the worldwide pandemic worse, is that what we want? If you see someone doing this, tell them to stop! It is not right. Please contribute to saving our oceans!! You can also help by sending us an email telling us something that you have done to help our waters!

Yes and it would be terrible for the environment and for us. Then we would be never rid of this virus. We have a hard time quarantining animals so how are we going to quarantine animals?

If animals got affected be COVID like us then it would affect other animals since most animals are social. They also don't know what this disease is so they can't take safety measures like we do. If animals get affected we will too because they are all around us and also because we are at the top of the food chain.

I also thought that the COVID pandemic was fine since it has decreased air pollutants in the atmosphere, but know I know that it is affecting the ocean negatively because of all the masks and gloves thrown into the water.

But if that happened it would be a huge threat to the environment assuming that they are affected the same way as us.
